The South African Police Service (SAPS) is delighted to launch the Community in Blue (CIB) policing concept with the aim to mobilise communities to join the fight against crime. Residents can volunteer as community patrollers and actively participate in crime fighting initiatives without professional qualification or previous experience. CIB volunteers will report to the Community Police Forum (CPF).
