Pinelands Hockey Club has submitted a request to lease the lower Oval. The Public Participation phase is drawing to an end. Closes today, 12 May.

Generated a lot of interest and heated discussion. Comment phase was meant to close in April. An info session was held Wednesday 18 April at the Oval, where extra comment time was requested and granted. Hence the deadline in May.
PHC has been without a home field, read Astro turf, for a long time and needing to move around as space was available outside of Pinelands. Finally, looking to find a space back in Pinelands. They shared the Oval with Cricket for decades, and wish to return to use a part of the lower Oval for an Astro surface. For detail read the PHC statement.
